MEET GRIGGS
Placing Paws of Libertyville IL recently took a super sweet 12 year young Puggle (pug and beagle mix) named “Griggs” into their all volunteer rescue program. When his owner was stricken with terminal cancer, Griggs was cared for and boarded at their Vet's office. Unfortunately, his owner passed away and Griggs now has no home to call his own. Placing Paws Rescue has stepped in to find Griggs a new “forever” home.
Griggs is a happy, friendly and sweet dog. Don't think that at age 12 he is old – The Rescue Vet describes him as very playful and animated. Griggs is young at heart and acts like a young guy. Griggs is as sweet as can be with people. You can tell how happy he is in the picture above!

Mail carrier Jo Amerson knocked out windows of the house in an effort to make sure no one was trapped inside and she found an unconscious dog inside. She performed CPR and brought the dog back to life.
