Karen Williams began her radio career at KARN-AM in her hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas. Her on-air and behind the scenes experience led her to WNUA in 1991 where she hosted various weekend programs. Within two years, Karen was promoted to morning show host for WNUA’s “Jazz Up Your Morning” program. In 1997, she began co-hosting with Ramsey Lewis on WNUA 95.5. Karen now provides you with all of the latest news, weather & traffic as you wake up each morning on 93.9 Lite Fm!

Shedd Aquarium is offering free general admission to Illinois residents through Friday. Free exhibits include Waters of the World, the Caribbean Reef and Amazon Rising. Discounts are available for some other exhibits. The aquarium is also hosting later hours Tuesday and Wednesday until 8pm.
