A fast and tasty meal is a welcome treat during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.  The fresh sage pairs so deliciously with the cheese and prosciutto.  Most people don’t realize prosciutto is not the same as pepperoni or bacon.  Check out the fat content and compare for yourself.  Serve with a green crisp salad with lemon juice and a splash of olive oil with fresh parsley.

Amount:  4 servings

Ingredients:

1 prepared Pizza Crust

1 cup Culinary Circle® Marinara Pasta Sauce

2 ounces Culinary Circle® Sliced Prosciutto

8-12 fresh sage leaves

1 cup shredded fontina cheese

Directions:

  1. Place pizza crust on a baking sheet.  Spread marinara sauce over crust.
  2. Top with prosciutto, sage and cheese.
  3. Bake in a preheated 425°F oven 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
