The Avengers is the number one movie – and had the biggest opening ever – 200-million dollars.  The super hero flick is the first to break the 200-mark in 3 days.  Worldwide the movie has grossed 641-million overall.  Last weeks #1 Think Like a Man was a distant 2nd, followed by Hunger Games, The Lucky One and The Pirates – Band of Misfits.

Who won the Amazing Race?  Well, the final three teams - Dave & Rachel, Art and JJ and Brendon and Rachel were in Honolulu Hawaii for the last leg of the competition.  Rachel and David Brown crossed the finish line first.  They take a million dollars and the record for the winning-est team in Amazing Race history – 8 wins in one season.

This person is considering quitting Jeopardy?  Who is Alex Trebek.  During a recent interview the longtime game show host admitted he is thinking about retiring.  He’s been doing it for 28 years – his contract is up in 2 years.  So 30 years might be the magic number.  He says he is torn – because he loves doing the show so much.

CBS is threatening ABC with a lawsuit.  Seems ABC has a new show called Glass House and its very familiar to their show Big Brother.  Its no coincidence that 18 former Big Brother staffers are now working on the new ABC project.  CBS sent a cease & desist letter and will sue if they actually air it on tv.

Mom of 4 Heidi Klum is hooking up with Babies R Us.  Everything from clothes to toys to products to nursery décor – for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.  Truly Scrumptious is expected to launch this fall.

Amanda Bynes needs to put down the ‘how to be Lindsay Lohan’ book… the actress was involved in a hit and run accident in Hollywood.  She sideswiped a car she was trying to pass on the right with her Range Rover.  She kept driving and when cop caught up with her she said she didn’t know she hit the car.  She wants issued a ticket and the case wont be investigated anymore.  Last month she was arrested for DUI after she clipped a cop car.
