The Chicago River traditionally gets turned a lovely shade orf Irish Green for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. But, did you know the dye that goes into the river is orange?
Then (perhaps with the help of a leprechaun or two) it magically turns that bright shade of green!
This is scheduled for 10:00, Saturday March 16th and can be best viewed from the East side of the bridge at Columbus Drive or upper and lower Wacker Drive between Columbus and Lake Shore Drive. This is a new location due to construction taking place this year.
