The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Exhibit

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz exhibit features larger than life pop-up books that dazzle the eyes and stimulates the mind. Each section of this exhibit, based on the book published in 1900 by L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow, is an oversized three-dimensional page from the original story. Picasso and Chicago

Olympic Indoor Swim Center's Pool Egg Hunt

Hunt for eggs at Olympic Indoor Swim Center during a special swim session. Plastic eggs are filled with surprises and float in the pool. Children get to collect the eggs and take them home. Plastic bags are provided to take the eggs home, but are not allowed in the pool. All children need to be accompanied by an adult in the water. Palatine Park District's 1st Annual Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble

The event will include a flashlight egg hunt for eggs filled with candy, raffle entries, and prizes. Entry fee  includes the egg hunt, raffles, and a souvenir photo with the bunny. Check in will begin at 7:30pm, with the egg hunt taking place promptly at 8:00pm. A cash bar of beer, wine and pop will be available. This adults only egg hunt will be held rain or shine. If the weather cooperates, the event will be held on the lawn at Falcon Park; in case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the indoor turf area in the Recreation Center. 10th Annual Spring Egg-Stravaganza at Soldier Field

Soldier Field together with Dominick's celebrates the beginning of spring by inviting families to take part in the 10th annual Spring Egg-Stravaganza, the largest candy grab in the city taking place here on the stadium field. The stadium will open at 9am to the general public to enjoy all types of kid and family friendly activities including face painters, fun inflatables, balloon artists and much more! The fun on the field will begin at 10A with the first group of kids to collect all the goodies they can on the field. The event is FREE and open to the public. The first 2,000 children to participate in the candy grab will receive a commemorative wooden egg designed by a local Chicago youth participating in the citywide open art contest that is now open.  www.soldierfield.net 

 

Palatine Jaycee's Easter Egg Hunt

Palatine Jaycee will be hiding 3,000 Easter Eggs filled with candy and prizes in the grassy area of Towne Square, and will divide all the kids who wish to participate into groups by age.
