JUSTIN COLLAPSES ONSTAGE, COMPLETES SHOW, HEADS TO HOSPITAL

The up and mostly down week of Justin Bieber took another downturn last night, after the pop star experienced trouble breathing and appeared to pass out onstage during a concert at the O2 Arena in London. The singer’s rep told E! News last night around 6:40p EST, “He got oxygen from emergency personnel. He insisted on finishing the show. He is on the way to the hospital right now.” Sources at the arena said Bieber told the crowd he wasn’t feeling well, went backstage to get medical attention, and returned to the stage about 10 minutes later and finished the concert, despite a doctor’s recommendation that he not complete his performance. According to TMZ, Bieber was “in good spirits” and felt “OK” at the hospital, but doctors wanted to evaluate him. Later, Bieber posted a shirtless photo of himself in a hospital bed, with the caption, “Getting better listening to Janis Joplin.” He also thanked his fans on Twitter, writing: Best fans in the world. Figuring out what happened. Thanks for the love.”

JOY BEHAR LEAVING THE VIEW

Joy Behar is getting ready to say goodbye to The View. Deadline.com reports that the comedian’s contract is up in August and she’s decided not to renew. “It seemed like the right time,” she said. “You reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘Do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate I want to do — I’ve been writing a play, I’ve been neglecting my standup.” She also said she’d be interested in possibly hosting another talk show, since her Current TV show will end when the network is taken over by Al Jazerra.   Behar, who is expected to remain on the ABC talker for a few more months, is the last original cast member of The View, besides Barbara Walters.
