Pop singer Lady Gaga informed her millions of Twitter followers she was on her way to the hospital to undergo hip surgery to repair the severe inflammation of the joints that forced her to eventually cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball U.S. tour. On Wednesday, Gaga tweeted: “Going in for surgery now. Thank you so much for sending me love and support. I will be dreaming of you.”
Entertainment Weekly reports that former Spice Girl Melanie Brown (a.k.a. Scary Spice) is close to signing on as a judge on America’s Got Talent, replacing Sharon Osbourne. She’ll join Howard Stern and Howie Mandel who have already signed on for another year. This won’t be Mel B’s first time as a judge. She previously served as one on the UK version of The X Factor.
In a new poll conducted by MenKind, 22-year-old Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been voted the Least Sexy Actress in Hollywood. Coming in at number two is Sarah Jessica Parker, followed by Lindsay Lohan, Denise Richards and Kristen Dunst. Rounding out the Top Ten are: Mischa Barton, Hilary Swank, Lucy Liu, Tilda Swinton and Uma Thurman.

● Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams will star in her own reality show. My Sister’s Keeper, from Entertainment One Television, will follow Williams and her sister as her new solo gospel album is released.
● Mandy Moore will star in the ABC comedy pilot Pulling, which revolves around three dysfunctional women in their 30s living their lives the way they want to, despite what society tells them. Moore will play Louise, an optimistic gal out to snag a husband.
