OK, wanna know what your man worries about?
The relationship site YourTango.com listed the 7 most common things men worry about! (Although they may ACT like nothing is bothering them)
#1.) How Much Money They Make. Ego is definitely part of it. But more money also means more flexibility, more security, more status, and fewer concerns about things like retirement, vacations, and putting the kids through school.
#2.) How Much They've Accomplished. It's usually something guys think about WAY too much as they get older. Right around the time they start having a mid-life crisis.
Basically, they look back and wonder if they could have been more successful if they'd just tried a little harder. Which can sometimes be MOTIVATING. But it's usually just DEPRESSING.
The best thing to do is talk openly about it. But bringing it up with your significant other . . . who you've BUILT your life with . . . isn't easy. So most guys just bottle it up.
#3.) Their Bedroom Skills. They mainly worry whether you're actually satisfied, or just FAKING it. Or... how FREQUENTLY you're faking it.
Most guys are open to advice. Just don't tell him he's doing anything WRONG. Instead, tell him a few things you want to TRY. That way you won't bruise his ego, and you'll reassure him that you ARE having a good time.
#4.) Job Security. This one kind of goes hand-in-hand with "how much money they make." And worrying about it too MUCH can cause family and relationship problems.
Which is ironic, since the main reason men worry about losing their job is because they don't want their family to be in a bad situation. So it's good to be supportive and remind him that you're in it together, NO MATTER WHAT.
#5.) Losing Their Looks. Women worry about getting old just as much as men do, or probably more. But guys are more likely to never talk about it, then do something to over-compensate... like have an affair, or buy a convertible.
In the end, most guys just want someone to make them feel WANTED from time to time, just like women do.
#6.) Losing Their Health. Pretty much everyone is worried about it on some level. But men are more likely to want to IGNORE a health problem and not go to the doctor. So sometimes they don't tell anyone!
#7.) Their Parenting Skills. Even if they don't have kids yet, guys worry a lot about whether they WILL be a good dad.
At the same time, most women worry about whether they'll make good MOMS. So it's something men SHOULD feel comfortable talking about. But they don't, because it's like admitting they're afraid of something.
*Suprised by any of these?
