From ChicagoTribune.com: The 33rd annual Taste of Chicago, racked by budget cuts in recent years, has booked an in-demand band for its opening concert July 10: fun.

The New York City trio recently won two Grammy awards, for song of the year (the ubiquitous “We are Young”) and best new artist (even though the group has been making music since 2008). Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff clicked commercially last year with fun.’s second album, “Some Nights,” which yielded the hit singles “We are Young,” “Some Nights” and “Carry On.”
